Mali boasts beautiful artwork that transcends time. The country is most renowned for their bògòlanfini or bogolan cloth -- handwoven cotton cloth dyed in fermented mud. This craftsmanship dates back to the 12th century and is now being used to decorate homes worldwide.
Using an age-old dying technique, the cloth (traditionally woven by men), is dyed using leaves and later painted with fermented mud. The mud painting process is repeated several times until they achieve the beautiful patterns and look that you find on our snuggle pillows.
These patterns are perfect for your dog and home.
